- Take 100 gms of nellikkai. (Also called peru nelli).
- Remove seeds.
- Grind with a green chilli, a little ginger (inji), garlic (poondu), salt and jaggery (vellam)(optional).
- Season with mustard seed (kaduku), jeeragam (jeera or cumin seed) and oil.
